Team TFC Against Team SP

Team TFC 3, SP 2

Singapore Polytechnic, Clementi -- Team TFC continued marching on with their unbeaten run after beating Team SP with a 3-2 win over this evening. Peter, our team coordinator had a major reshuffle of the team line up today.

Kenji Tahoma, gave Team TFC the 1-0 by winning the opening singles match over Eugene Wong of SP 6-2, 6-2.

Ronny Tan come back from 4 games down to defeat Jerry Yap 6-4, 6-3 in the 2nd Singles Match.

The most surprising pair to team up today, Sebastian Koh & Emoki Nakajima were nickname the devil's pair by Team SP as they demostrated what is the difference between the Royals and the boys. Our Royal pairs demolished the boys 6-0, 6-0 and drop only 7 points throughout the 42 mins match. Are the pairs really from this planet??

Aki Masa was defeated by SP, Ramesh 3-6, 4-6 in the 3rd singles. Rayner & Grismond also lost in today's match against Xiao Ming & Fu Hua, 4-6,4-6. Although defeated, the pair showed great partnership throughout the match, we believe that they have great potential to be great pair partners in time to come.

WTFC Week 16 Review

Congratulation to Sebastian aka the Emperor by claiming the 3rd consecutive WTFC titles by defeating Jing Chen, 6-2 6-1. The emperor was simply awesome and unbeaten the whole season before winning the crown with 1 more game to go.

The Prince, Emoki on the other end of the island climb to the top of the East Zone and also move up to WTFC No 2 spot with a classic straight sets win over veteran Peter Robson of 6-1, 6-1. The win caused French Genius, Tony Permal to suffer a drop to the 3rd spot even with a win over Natalie, 6-4, 4-6, 6-1.

The dog fight continued this week with the remaining players fighting for the last 4 spots for the Master league with only 2 matches remaining. Shinji Kira secured his place in the final 8 with a brilliant win over the more experience Jon Pearson 7-6, 6-4. The win also determined that Kira is the Champion for the South Zone.
